The Manager, Med Info Digital Content and Strategy assists in the execution of differentiated content strategies for Innovative, Digital Content for global and omni-channel consumption. Responsible for development of Medical Information and other scientific content processes, training, and consistent implementation across therapeutic areas. Collaborates with Medical and Scientific Affairs partners to fulfill global and innovative content needs and development of innovative, digital content for various customer types. Assists with medical writing vendor management and optimization. Responsible for handling content management system enhancements, training and analyzing quantitative and qualitative content related success criteria reports and metrics.

  • Ensures adoption of content strategies for the creation and maintenance of Innovative, Digital, Scientific Content for global and omni-channel consumption across multiple customer types including healthcare professionals, payers and patients.
  • Assists in the development of end-to-end processes for effective generation and dissemination of digital content across all regions globally.
  • Collaborates with scientific content partners, US Medical Affairs, global MI partners and digital engagement partners for innovative scientific content delivery.
  • Leads the development of customer research to deliver transformative scientific content assets aligned with customer needs.
  • Ensures quality of scientific materials and adherence to digital and global processes to ensure consistency in scientific content messaging across channels, customer personas and global needs.
  • Evaluates innovative ways to scientific content creation.
  • Manages content related reporting – responsible for development of quantitative and qualitative success criteria reports and dashboard within content management system to measure effective generation and utilization of scientific content.
  • Creates tools to gather vendor satisfaction feedback and generation of quarterly feedback reports for review with Medical Information Leadership Team.
  • Collaborates with medical writing vendor – on medical information and digital response authoring projects to ensure high quality of work, and provides feedback and assists on issue resolution.
  • Provides strategic input in content management system for optimal delivery and maintenance of digital and innovative content.
  • Leads development of training on processes for global and innovative, digital scientific content within content management system (CMS).
  • Responsible for CMS system testing during continuous improvement releases and collaborate closely with business partners for issue resolution.
  • Assists in the development and delivery of author training on processes in the CMS system.

Qualifications

Education

  • Doctorate Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent advanced science degree is required.

Experience and Skills

Required

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience within a Medical Information or Scientific Affairs function.
  • Ability to work in the Titusville, NJ office 3 days a week and travel up to 10 % of the time.

Preferred

  • Experience in Medical Information response creation processes, content management systems and technologies for scientific content.
  • Good written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Vendor relationship management experience and creativity / problem-solving compliantly.
  • Understanding of content management and other technology platforms and interpret Voice of Customer Reports.
  • Demonstrates innovative approach while multi-tasking with full attention to detail.
  • Good presentation and project management skills.
