Responsibilities
Provides behavioral health counseling services.

• Conduct patient assessments and establish therapy treatment goals.
• Administer individual and group therapy.
• Maintain thorough and confidential records of observations.
• Evaluate progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions.
• Provide patient with information regarding resources and therapeutic activities in the community.
• Work directly with the patient, family, physician and community providers to ensure active and collaborate care from the initiation of treatment to the time of discharge.

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Counselor credentialed from the Oklahoma State Board of Behavioral Health.
• Social Worker specializing in Clinical Practice credentialed from the Oklahoma State Board of Licensed Social Workers.
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required.

Preferred Credential(s)

• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Clinical Counselor preferred.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience. OR
• Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences

• Ability to work in a collaborative care model with medical providers.
• Strong and timely written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage own caseload from initiation to termination.
• Primary location in Broken Arrow with secondary location at another Tulsa area clinic.
