Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Trial Liaison to join our Medical Affairs team. The incumbent will play a crucial role in facilitating communication and collaboration between investigators conducting our clinical trials and various stakeholders within Cabaletta.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between investigators and internal departments, facilitating collaboration and communication to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop and execute a strategic engagement plan for clinical trial site support.
- Establish and sustain relationships with academic research institutions and investigators to better understand challenges and define opportunities for partnerships focusing on improving patient enrollment in our clinical trials.
- Contribute to the development of strategic initiatives and research priorities based on scientific insights, market trends, and organizational objectives.
- Identify opportunities for research collaboration, funding, and partnership with external organizations to advance scientific goals.
- Work closely with the Clinical and Clinical Operations Teams to maximize impact on execution of priority studies and clinical trial sites coverage through site selection and engagement.
- Stay abreast of current scientific literature and developments within Immunology and cell therapy to provide informed insights and guidance to investigators and internal stakeholders.
- May contribute to development of scientifically accurate materials, medical education programs, and advisory boards.
- Communicate scientific concepts, methodologies, and findings effectively to diverse audiences, including scientists, non-scientific stakeholders, and executives.
- Develop and deliver training programs, workshops, and presentations to enhance scientific understanding of clinical trial staff.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced scientific degree (MD, Ph.D. or PharmD) degree with at least 10 years of experience in the field of cell therapy and/or autoimmune diseases.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in field-facing and/or key opinion leader management role.
- Experience in scientific or clinical research, with a track record of publications demonstrating expertise in the field is desired.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and coordinate resources effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill complex scientific concepts into clear, concise messages for diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and alignment.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and ethical standards governing scientific research and development.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving innovation and achieving organizational objectives.
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, with experience using relevant software tools and techniques.
- Must be able to influence in a matrixed environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Remote, field-based role with expected travel ~40% (mostly within US)
- Strong team orientation and passion for continuous self-development.
- Experience in the biotech industry or in a startup industrial setting is preferred.
