Description

Under the direction of the assigned leader, the Compliance Coordinator is responsible for assisting with implementation and maintenance of the TeamHealth Compliance and Ethics Program. The Compliance Coordinator will assist with the daily operational and functional requirements of the Compliance Department including, but not limited to, compliance training; auditing and monitoring; and investigation of compliance concerns.

Roles and Responsibilities 

  • Provide administrative and functional support to the assigned leader.
  • Manage assigned compliance projects.
  • Research compliance topics as requested. Analyze results and recommend proposed actions based on the research results.
  • Actively participate in compliance investigations and corrective action plans as requested. Document activities in the incident management system. Track and report on all assigned activities.
  • Participate in the planning and performance of the annual compliance risk assessment.
  • Participate in the development of the Annual Compliance Work Plan and related documents.
  • Perform and document Compliance Work Plan activities as assigned.
  • Prepare requested reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information obtained through research, investigations, Work Plan submissions, and other compliance activities.
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of relevant laws, rules, and regulations governing the healthcare services furnished by TeamHealth clinicians.
  • Effectively interact and communicate with all TeamHealth Associates while consistently demonstrating a high standard of conduct, ethics, objectivity, judgment, independence, and discretion.

Qualification and Experience

  • Two years of experience in administrative healthcare role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
  • Ability to manage and safeguard confidential information.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software.
