Description
For our client, we are seeking a Medical Director to join the team of a leader in the Hospitals & Medical Centers space. This role will drive complex programs from planning through execution with a focus on structure, accountability, and measurable delivery. You will work across business leaders, delivery teams, and strategic partners to align priorities, manage dependencies, and keep initiatives on track. The position offers the opportunity to bring clarity to complex work and deliver outcomes that matter across the organization within a healthcare environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $215,000 – $408,500 annually
Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate medical management and quality improvement functions
- Lead utilization management, cost containment, and quality improvement initiatives
- Conduct medical reviews for complex and controversial cases
- Support the implementation of performance improvement initiatives
- Assist in setting goals and policies for quality care
- Collaborate with clinical teams on case management
- Participate in provider network development and expansion
Qualifications
- MD or DO with no restrictions
- Oklahoma medical license required
- Board Certified Physician
- Utilization Management experience preferred
- Active medical practice within the last 5 years preferred
