So, what’s the job?
As a Senior Medical Editor, you will be an integral part of our Medical and Scientific Services Team, delivering our clients’ publication and medical communication plans. Duties will include proofreading, styling, and copy-editing of a wide variety of medical and scientific content, as well as managing the submission for scientific congress activities and medical journals. You will liaise closely with external contacts in order to research queries, obtain additional project-related information, and ensure that we deliver a high quality service to healthcare professionals so that they can deliver the best quality patient care.
Who is the ideal candidate?
As you will be editing and proofreading others’ work, a high level of attention to detail and excellent word processing skills are a must. Research skills are a plus. A Bachelor's degree and excellent knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, along with 5-7 years of editorial experience in medical communications/publications planning space are required. We’re looking for someone who is hard-working, can work well within an established team, and has the ability to perform under their own initiative, as well as prioritize a varied workload.
