Position Overview
The primary purpose of this role is to assist in the development of a new study in my research laboratory, which will include protocol development and management. This position requires extensive prior experience in the field of human integrative physiology, the capacity to work independently, and strong oral and written communication skills.
Minimum Qualifications
Doctoral degree. If not yet conferred, a letter from the school's official Graduate Office and/or Registrar's Office certifying that all requirements have been met and stating the degree conferral date can be accepted.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

- Advanced training in quantitative research methods.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
Preferred Qualifications
Doctoral degree in related field.
Job Duties
- Responsible for developing and managing protocols for review by the Institutional Review Board (IRB).
- Recruiting human research participants, and scheduling experiments.
- Running experimental protocols Analyzing data collected during experimental sessions.
- Writing abstracts and manuscripts for publication based on the data collected from the experimental sessions Assist in the mentoring and development of junior trainees in the laboratory Learn new techniques and also share expertise in current techniques with other laboratory personnel Participate in all laboratory activities including journal clubs, lab meetings, and weekly one-on-one meetings with Dr. Rickards.
