Description

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Actively drive the development of the Virtual Health program through collaboration with the Virtual Care team, interdepartmental stakeholders, and community and technology partners
  • Recommend, design, and implement Virtual Health standards for patient satisfaction and quality, work processes, role expectations, and continuing education/training for providers of virtual health; provide direction for the practice on maximizing virtual care capabilities and the patient experience
  • Virtualist role – See patients via Zoom video virtual visits using the technology provided by the practice (e.g. Zoom, TytoCare technology, artificial intelligence, remote monitoring)
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and supervision to Advanced Health Practitioners on the Virtual Health team
  • Practice high quality, evidence-based medicine
  • Leverage Epic to streamline documentation for the virtual visit from the moment the patient “arrives,” capture the chief complaint, chart notes, patient instructions, and after-visit summaries.
  • Demonstrate a passion for providing patient-centered care
  • Be involved in our organization and its place in the community

Practice Details:

  • Full-time employment opportunity with MemorialCare Medical Group
  • Eligible to be considered for Partner/Shareholder status after three years of full-time employment (i.e., stock purchase, potential real estate investment opportunities, participate in the governance of the group, etc.)
  • Location:  Work remotely, from home. Attend onsite training/meetings as needed/required.
  • Shifts: Nights (9 pm to 9 am, weekdays and weekends)
  • EMR:  Epic

Job Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work a variety of hours/shifts (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays, etc.)
  • At least 3 years experience practicing Family Medicine or Urgent Care in an outpatient setting.
  • Board certification in Family Medicine
  • Active, unrestricted California medical license
  • DEA certificate

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Leadership role in the launch of a new healthcare program and/or program development
  • Excellent communication skills,  organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Bilingual skills preferred but not required
  • Technologically savvy
  • Multidisciplinary team environment; Team player
