The Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at Mayo Clinic in Florida is seeking a Clinical Informatics Pathologist. The selected candidate will leverage data science, information and digital technologies to enable translation and application of data, information and knowledge within the fields of laboratory medicine and pathology. The individual selected for this position will have access to the tremendous resources of Mayo Clinic to pursue collaborative solutions that connect data, people and processes.

Our clinical pathology laboratory offers a robust and rapidly growing test menu. The selected candidate will join a group of 20 pathology consultants. All Surgical and Clinical pathologists have subspecialty expertise and participate in scholarly activities through research and education. The practice offers a stimulating environment for professional growth and career development. The position includes an academic appointment with the College of Medicine, Mayo Clinic.
License or certification
Qualified candidates should have a MD/DO and/or PhD and be board-certified or board-eligible in Anatomic and/or Clinical Pathology. Additionally, the candidate will be board-certified or board-eligible in clinical informatics, or have a substantial academic record in the subject area. The selected candidate is expected to participate primarily on clinical informatics with some responsibility in clinical service if deemed necessary and have significant effort dedicated to institutional informatics services and initiatives. The candidate is expected to have excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership and administrative skills along with an interest in educating informatics fellow trainees.
