The Department of Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Gastroenterologist that specializes in Nutrition to join the largest, physician-led multidisciplinary nutrition support team in the country. The Center for Human Nutrition within the department offers a number of specialized nutrition services to treat patient conditions including but not limited to:
- Cancer
- Celiac Disease
- Crohn’s/Ulcerative Colitis
- Cystic Fibrosis
- Diabetes
- Heart Failure
- High Cholesterol
- General Nutrition (Wellness, Prevention)
- IV (Parenteral) Nutrition
- Kidney Disease
- Liver Disease
- Malabsorption
- Malnutrition
- Surgery
- Swallowing Problems
- Transplant
- Tube (Enteral) Feeding
- Weight Loss
As a major referral center for patients with intestinal failure, we care for patients requiring hospital and home parenteral and enteral nutrition and transplantation. We will provide training to become part of our multi-disciplinary team of physicians, advanced practice practitioners, dietitians, and nurses.
Candidates would join a team of 80+ gastroenterologists within the Department of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition throughout Northeast Ohio. Candidates should be BC/BE in gastroenterology, able to obtain an Ohio medical license and meet hospital credentialing requirements.
