Alliance Cancer Specialists is looking for a Chief Medical Officer in Southeastern Pennsylvania to share our story in the community and throughout the state. 

 The ideal candidate for Chief Medical Officer is a collaborative and dynamic professional who can help achieve the practice’s goals for annual and long-term growth, as well as effectively represent Alliance Cancer Specialists throughout the medical community.


  • Team with Alliance leadership members to develop goals and strategic objectives for the clinical practice component of the  organization.
  • Evaluate, determine, and direct best practices and clinical standards for Hematology­-Oncology care across the Alliance divisions.
  • Engage in provider performance review with regard to clinical competency, drug utilization, and coding/billing.
  • Responsible for oversight and management of clinical EMR content (regimen inclusion and modification, clinical communications) and fostering efficient EMR practices.
  • Provide leadership in the development, implementation, and management of Value­- #nowhiring Based Care programs across Alliance.
  • Coordinate activities with the Alliance Board of Directors, Nursing, and Operations leadership.
  • Serve as the primary communicator to the Alliance provider group (Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers) regarding  programs, initiatives, operations, and standards.
  • Provide and foster key clinical educational activities.
  •  Represent Alliance Cancer Specialists as a Board member of the Community Oncology Alliance (COA).
  • Serve on relevant clinical committees with US Oncology representing Alliance Cancer Specialists.


Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • At least twenty (20) years’ experience with progressively increasing responsibilities required; healthcare industry preferred.
  • Proven ability at attaining company goals in a changing environment in which a wide degree of creativity and flexibility is required.
  • Proven ability to manage the requirements of diverse stakeholders that participate in the organization’s business model.
  • Thinks globally, takes a broad view of the business and its opportunities.
