
Description
The Advisor, Financial Expert, Physician Compensation creates executive-level physician compensation reporting packages to communicate financial or other information on costs, prices, expenses, revenues, and various clinical and operational measures to make recommendations to senior management. Analyzes diverse sets of data including financial, operational, clinical and economic, to support strategic and operational decisions. Advises business units of financial performance and impact of decisions and thinks broadly to other downstream outcomes from changes to physician compensation plans. Serves as a trusted financial resource to operational leaders of the unit, providing financial reporting and analysis, expense management, operational improvement and the evaluation of growth opportunities. Combines strong relationships, analysis, and risk-conscious planning to ensure that the unit's plan is realized. Interfaces with both leadership and front-line team members to execute organizational development strategy and drive change initiatives across the unit. Partners with leadership team(s) to lead and direct both the long-range financial planning process and the annual budget process, including both operating and capital. Analyze complex financial data to drive operation improvement and/or subject matter expert knowledge in one or more key financial subject areas. Accountable for accurate volume and expense planning as known at the time in assigned areas to support regional leaders in being able to hit goals. Requires the ability to promote teamwork and develop team members without having direct reports - leading through influence.
- Bachelor's Degree is required.
- Requires 7-10 years of relevant compensation experience.
- Requires knowledge of state and national regulatory agency guidelines and/or a working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and/or other industry standard guidelines.
- Requires experience successfully interacting with all levels of leadership.
- Requires experience implementing large scale process improvement initiatives that drive measurable business results.
