The Skinner School of Business and Technology at Trevecca Nazarene University seeks adjunct faculty for instructing courses in the healthcare administration track of the Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) Program. Areas and topics of focus include cultural awareness or cultural intelligence for executive healthcare leaders, change management in healthcare organizations, negotiation strategies for healthcare leaders, quality systems, and regulatory affairs in healthcare organizations.

Teaching opportunities will begin in the summer and fall semesters of 2021 and the spring semester of 2022.  Course delivery is 100% online.  The length of each course is eight (8) weeks.

Qualifications Required

Preferred applicants will have a Doctorate Degree in Health Care Administration or a related field, such as a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree, plus a minimum of five (5) years of healthcare leadership and management experience.  Candidates with a PhD, DBA, JD, or EdD with a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration and/or significant healthcare experience will also be considered. In addition, applicants must agree with the University’s theological tradition and mission statement and be willing to sign the University’s statement of faith.
